10 Little Luxuries I Think Are Actually Worth It

I love a little luxury.

But I don't necessarily mean luxury in the “drop $5,000 on something because it has a designer logo” kind of way. (Although… I certainly won't complain about that either. 😂)

To me, the best little luxuries are the things that make everyday life feel a little better. The things I use constantly, the small conveniences that make life easier, or the little splurges that make an ordinary Tuesday feel just a bit more special.

And I've learned that worth it doesn't always mean expensive. It means something I genuinely use, love, and notice a difference from having.

So, here are 10 little luxuries I think are actually worth it — including a few that cost way less than you'd think.

1. A Nice At-Home Coffee Machine ☕️

I am a coffee girl through and through, so this one was an easy first pick.

We have the Breville espresso machine, and being able to make a really good coffee at home has genuinely changed my morning routine. I still love going out for coffee, but there is something about making an iced latte at home in my pajamas that feels just as luxurious.

If you're drinking coffee every day anyway, I think investing in a machine you genuinely love using is worth it.

And honestly, there is something very satisfying about being able to make your favorite coffee-shop order from your own kitchen.

My verdict: Worth it.

Especially if you're the kind of person who is buying a $7 coffee several times a week anyway. 😂

2. A Signature Perfume (or Two) ✨

I love the idea of having a signature scent — the kind where you smell it years later and immediately associate it with a certain time in your life.

Right now, I'm loving Be Her by Ella Langley x Noyz and Glossier You. They're completely different, but both feel very me.

I don't think you need a giant perfume collection (although I will never judge one). I do think having one or two fragrances that make you feel instantly put together is a little luxury worth having.

There's also something about perfume that feels very personal. It's one of those things that can completely change how you feel before you even leave the house.

My verdict: Worth it.

A good perfume is basically the invisible finishing touch to an outfit.

3. Consistently Having My Nails Done 💅🏼

This one isn't about having the fanciest manicure or spending a ridiculous amount of money every two weeks.

For me, it's about consistency.

Having my nails done makes me feel more put together, more polished, and honestly just more like myself. Even when I'm working from home in leggings with my hair in a bun, having my nails done makes me feel like I have at least one thing together. 😂

It's also one of those little things I notice constantly. I'm typing all day, drinking my coffee, grabbing my keys, scrolling on my phone — my hands are always in front of me.

My verdict: Worth it.

Especially because it's something I genuinely enjoy, not something I feel like I have to do.

4. Nice Pajamas 🛏️

I spend a lot of time in pajamas, so I've decided I'm no longer interested in wearing pajamas that make me look like I just got back from a college tailgate.

Enter: nice pajamas.

I'm currently obsessed with the Cozy Earth bamboo stretch-knit pajamas. They're incredibly soft, comfortable, and feel like the kind of thing you'd find in a really nice hotel.

And honestly, I love that this is a luxury that is entirely for me. No one needs to see your pajamas. You can buy the pretty ones simply because you deserve to feel good getting into bed.

My verdict: Worth it.

Your sleepwear can have a personality too.

5. An At-Home Red Light Therapy Mask 🔴

Skincare is another category where I'm willing to spend more on something if I'm actually going to use it consistently.

I've been using the Omnilux red light therapy mask, and I love that it allows me to do something a little extra for my skin without having to leave my house.

There's something very satisfying about putting on a skincare mask, making a coffee, and pretending I'm at a spa when I'm actually sitting on my couch.

And while this is definitely more of an investment than some of the other things on this list, I think the things you can use regularly at home are often the easiest luxuries to justify.

My verdict: Worth it.

Especially for a skincare girl who loves anything that makes an at-home routine feel a little more elevated.

6. TSA PreCheck ✈️

This may be the least glamorous thing on this list, but hear me out.

TSA PreCheck is one of those purchases where you don't really think about how much you appreciate it until you're standing in the regular security line watching everyone take their shoes off.

I travel enough that skipping some of the airport hassle is absolutely worth it to me.

It's not a cute purchase. It's not something you can photograph for Instagram.

But it makes my life easier — and that's a luxury too.

My verdict: VERY worth it.

Anything that gives me more time at the airport to get an iced coffee instead of standing in a security line gets my vote.

7. A Really Good Cozy Blanket 🧸

I love a cozy blanket. I want my couch to feel like somewhere I could happily spend an entire Sunday.

But here's the thing: your cozy blanket does NOT need to cost hundreds of dollars.

I have a Lola blanket dupe that I absolutely love, and it gives me the same cozy, luxurious feeling without the luxury price tag.

This is my reminder that “worth the money” does not always mean “spend more money.”

Sometimes it means finding the thing that gives you the feeling you want at a price you're actually happy paying.

My verdict: Worth it.

But shop smarter. 😂

8. Fresh Flowers for Absolutely No Reason 💐

I don't think you need a birthday, dinner party, anniversary, or special occasion to buy flowers.

Sometimes it's Tuesday.

Sometimes the grocery store has really pretty hydrangeas.

Sometimes you just want your kitchen to look a little prettier.

I love having fresh flowers in the house because they make an ordinary day feel special. And they don't have to be expensive — a $10–$15 grocery store bouquet can completely change a room.

This might actually be my favorite little luxury on the entire list because it has nothing to do with having more.

It's just about enjoying what you already have.

My verdict: Always worth it.

Buy the flowers.

9. Paying Someone Else to Clean My House 🧼

There is truly no better feeling than leaving the house a little chaotic and coming home to it completely reset.

I don't think luxury always means buying something beautiful. Sometimes luxury is paying someone else to do the thing you absolutely do not want to do. 😂

Having someone deep clean the house gives me back my Saturday, my energy, and approximately 47 things I would rather be doing.

And there's something about walking into a freshly cleaned house that makes me feel like I've completely reset my life.

My verdict: Worth it.

A clean house without spending my entire weekend scrubbing it? Sign me up.

10. A Gym Class Membership 🧘🏼‍♀️

I'm a lot more motivated to work out when the workout feels like an experience rather than something I have to force myself to do.

A cute studio, a good playlist, an instructor who knows your name — it makes working out feel a little more fun and a lot less like a chore. For me, that studio is Studio Fire in Greer, SC! You can even use my code “GREYSON” to try your first class FREE.

And yes, I could technically work out for free at home. But if paying for a class gets me out of bed, makes me feel good, and gives me something on my calendar to look forward to, I consider that money well spent.

For me, it's less about paying for a workout and more about paying for an experience that makes me actually want to show up.

My verdict: Worth it.

Especially when it makes you actually want to go. 😂

My Little Luxury Philosophy

I think there's a difference between buying things because they're expensive and buying things because they make your life better.

I love the beautiful things. I love getting dressed up, having my nails done, a good perfume, a beautiful hotel, and a really good coffee. But I've also learned that some of my favorite luxuries are incredibly simple — fresh flowers from the grocery store, matching pajamas, a cozy blanket, or coming home to a house that someone else cleaned.

You don't have to spend a fortune to make your life feel a little more luxurious.

Sometimes it's about noticing the little things that make you happy and deciding they're worth it.

Because a little luxury doesn't have to be extravagant. Sometimes it's just making your everyday life feel a little more like yours.
